TRIMIX INJECTION FOR ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

What is Trimix?

Trimix is an injectable medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It contains three different medications that work together to increase blood flow by relaxing blood vessels in the penis. This vasodilating effect helps produce stronger, longer- lasting erections.

For men who don’t respond to traditional oral medications—about one in three—Trimix may provide the results you’ve been looking for.

If you’re concerned about the injection process, rest assured: the needles are very small, and our team will provide injection training during your initial consultation to make the process safe, simple, and comfortable.

Frequently asked questions

How is Trimix injected?

Trimix is injected into the side of the penis, specifically into the corpora cavernosa. Your Men’s Revival Provider will provide education and injection training on proper administration techniques during your initial consultation.

The needles used for injection are very fine and when injected using proper technique, most men report very little discomfort.

Trimix should not be used more than once per day, and it is recommended to limit use to no more than three times per week, with at least 24 hours between injections. Overuse can increase the risk of complications.

Trimix begins to work within 5 to 15 minutes following the injection and its effects last up to 1 hour.

Common side effects are typically mild and may include mild pain or discomfort, bruising, or slight bleeding at the injection site. Less common side effects can include:

Priapism (an erection lasting longer than 4 hours), which is a medical emergency and requires immediate attention.

Fibrosis (scar tissue development), which can occur with repeated use in the same injection site.

Allergic reaction.

Dizziness or lightheadedness.

Changes in heart rhythm or increased heart rate.

Trimix should be stored in the refrigerator at temperatures between 36°F and 46°F (2°C and 8°C)
